saying this. Correct?

If so, I sure won't remember it. Our fans say stupd stuff, too. And post it on this very board sometimes. Recently.

As for the general sentiment that he would rather have Saban than Croom, I agree with him. It's just the "never" stuff that is stupid. Oh, and the repeat thing. That was even more stupid.

this is from the same link above:
LSU still pining for Saban -- LSU fans still haven't gotten over Nick Saban. They miss Saban coaching at LSU and winning championships. They want him back so desperately they paid their coach, Les Miles, more than Nick Saban. They want him back, but they're too afraid to say it. They miss Saban, and we all know it. Editor's Note: LSU has won one BCS title, one SEC title and made two appearances in the SEC Championship Game in three years under Les Miles. Miles also has a clause in his contract stating he will be paid no less than the highest-paid coach at a public university in the conference plus $1,000. For the 2008 season, Miles will make the equivalent of Saban's $3.75 million plus $1,000.
At least the paper's editor pointed out the idiocy of missing Saban since The Hat has had just as much success as Saban had at LSU.

What would happen if two coaches in the conference both had this clause in their contracts? Would their salaries spiral up to infinity?

Also, would Miles be pissed if Vandy paid their coach more than him because the clause wouldn't apply then?
