I am wanting to purchase a new dog soon. I am a former Bulldog myself and was wondering if anyone could tell me who breeds or takes care of Bully XX and the rest of the bloodline. I would love to complete my family with a puppy from Bully's bloodline.

Piece of advice: don't get a pet based on the school you went to. You should seriously love the breed regardless of its school affiliation (I knew a big UM fan who owned a bulldog, so there).

I'd assume the best place to start would be to contact the Vet School.

As a native of Georgia, I know the highfalutin UGA fans get their testes tickled pink when they brag about their bulldogs and their bloodlines. You can't talk sense into them to make them realize we've had a bulldog as a mascot since at least 1905, while they still had a goat.

I've not heard much about Bully's bloodlines before, but, I'm two states away. Good luck.

I believe you contact the vet school and pay a donation for them to essentially fertilize a ***** you provide. They don't sell them or anything. Find someone with a bulldog who would want to go in with you. I imagine you'd make your money back or at least make your dog affordable by selling off the litter.

Like someone said, you should really want a bulldog outside of your fanhood. They require a lot of care and aren't that great of pets for children (they won't necessarily play with them... they're truly lazy). Just be willing to pony up for the medical bills. It's not a question of if but when for them.

English bulldogs can be high, high maintenance. They are excellent pets if you have a lot of time to invest in one. I have one, love it like it was my child, but he's a stubborn piece of work. PM me if you have any questions about them.

May I suggest an Olde English Bulldogge instead? They are extremely similar in looks, a little bigger, but a LOT less high maintenance and medical issues. I had one, beautiful dog, shed like crazy, was stubborn as could be, but loved him like a kid... Made the mistake of letting him play outside longer than usual and someone hit him over the head. That was just a few weeks ago and I'm still not over it and don't know if I ever will be.

Hit him over the head?
