Shoot. That sucks for him. Had to be a Bronco fan growing up. I think he would have gotten a ring if they win the SB. I would imagine they’ll re-sign him later.
He's not done. I bet he'll get signed to futures contract right after the season ends.
What did he do for the last few years...isn't this his first year in the NFL?
I haven't followed his career. I just know that Denver won't have much coaching turnover and if they like him, they will keep him around for at least another fall camp. Nelson's on the fringe so it would be safe to try to stay on with Denver as opposed to trying to sign on with another team.
