You guys and your constant negativity about IU basketball is ridiculous and completely unfounded. Instead of bashing them for missing the tournament 7 out of the last 11 years, how about you congratulate them on making the nit for the fifth time in 11 years and securing the #1 seed this year!!! Some of you are so hateful of their success
You’re right
I’m thoroughly ashamed now.

Purdue has now been as far as the Elite Eight three times as often as the IUse2bes in the past quarter century. Notre Dame has been that far twice as often. So has Butler. Even just counting Indiana schools they suck.

This tweet was rubbing it in on the Hoosier Rivals board: DID YOU KNOW: #Purdue men’s bball has had more NCAA tourney wins in last 3 seasons (8) than #IUbb has had in last 14 seasons (7). When you are getting trolled and owned by the likes of Purdue, you really suck.

So Archie (Don't Call Me Jughead) Miller makes a 4-star PG recruit his top target for 2020...Ethan Morton...He's announcing tonight, and the Crystal Ball has him 100 percent for...wait for it...PURDUE.

You lose Keion Brooks to hated and envied national rival Kentucky and your top target for next year to hated and envied in-state rival Purdue, barring a major surprise.

Being a Hoosier sort of, well, sucks...

The movement died after 2013.

IU fans are so delusional they think Archie will be successful.

Another whiff for the Tiny Titan Archie Miller: Hoosier fans were all worked up thinking they were going to sign a 4-star combo guard Anthony Harris, especially after their only competition, UNC-CHeats, signed Cole Anthony, a much better version of the same kind of player. Instead Harris signed at UNC too -- content to back up Anthony rather than wear those embarrassing Candy-*** warm ups and play before the goons in *** Hall.

The IUse2Bes have one decent recruit, TDJ, a center who'll be good in a couple years but won't change the game next year. And they signed another center, a transfer who couldn't start on a 15-16 Butler team named Joey Brunk. They need to replace Morgan and Langford, by far their best players, and 3-4 others who graduated or transferred. And head case Devonte Green, who was wildly inconsistent but at least had a couple big scoring games, is in the draft. He might return. But would you? To that train wreck?
Well if it is any consolation their best recruit dropped 15 spots so he is now a 4 star :joy:

I’ve ventured over to the nations most hilarious college basketball forum, Peegs! What a hot mess that is. Half the crowd hates Archie, the other half are still holding out hope. They should just except that there a mid major program, embrace it and enjoy LOL

Looks more like an IU kid.
Ethan Morton is from Archie Miller's home town of Beaver Falls, Pa. Apparently Archie knew the coach, was on to the kid early, spent many hours of time recruiting him, had every possible home-court advantage....Then got dumped for Purdue, IU's biggest instate rival...If it wasn't so much fun to hate the Hoosiers I'd almost feel bad for Archie on this one.

Will IU make the NIT next year?
It looks like they are likely done w/recruiting after several misses. So to last year's NIT team they are adding a 4-star, skinny center who looks like a multi-year player, a 3-star guard who even the Hoosiers say won't contribute next year, and a transfer from Butler who didn't start on a 16-17 team and is, best case scenario, a 5-foul guy center.

They are subtracting first round draft pick Romeo Langford and pre-season B-10 first teamer Juwan Morgan, along with some role players.

Their wildly optimistic scenario: Jerome Hunter, a 4-star wing who sat out all year with lingering injuries, is a surprise All Big-10 level player, PG Robert Phinissee develops a jump shot he's never had before, Trayce Jackson-Davis develops faster than expected and can start at 4 in the B-10, De'Ron Davis improves dramatically at center, and 2G Devonte Green stops being a head case and is a consistent scorer. If all that happened -- all of it -- plus a couple guys emerge as competent back-ups, they are a Bubble Team.

Never a bad day to bump this thread, as Kentucky fans wring their hands over whether a seventh recruit will join the five 5-Star or high 4-Star and one Top 3 grad transfer added to the roster which includes between two and four returning 5-stars.

Some comedy gold on Peegs today in a thread about Fred Hoiberg getting to Nebraska and immediately out-recruiting Archie.

The debate: Is Indiana basketball a train wreck or not? Surprising number want to argue 'No!'

How can that even be a question for a program that has MISSED THE NCAA TOURNAMENT seven of the past eleven years, and has ADVANCED BEYOND THE SWEET 16 exactly ONCE since 1993 - going on 27 seasons! Not to mention 1987...

Sweating out McDaniels? It could be worse.

They're delusional it's sad.
I feel bad for the fpeaugh guy, he's right about Archie and IU's direction but is unanimously hated on Peegs.
