They tend to overlook that little fact, they beat their chests and say, we beat you in December when you were #1. Did that mean they were "back"?
Would could lose to Evansville ten times in a row and we would still be more relevant in the college basketball world than Indiana.
Would it suck as bad as missing the NCAA tournament seven times in the past 11 years?
Would it suck as much as only going beyond the Sweet 16 ONCE since the year the older Bush left office in 1993?
Would it suck worse than not winning anything significant since 1987?
Would it suck worse than watching Kentucky win three titles, go to nine Final Fours, and stay at the pinnacle of the sport while your program became a laughing stock?
Something tells me all those things would suck a lot more than an early November loss with a depleted roster.
