I think you are underselling a hard-fought home win over Portland State. It isn’t like PSU was 270 in KenPom rankings. They were actually 272.

After the upset of your Wildcats, Evansville lost 3 in a row to these major programs: SMU, East Carolina and George Washington.
They then beat Morgan State in 3 overtimes.

Fair enough, but I'm pretty sure Tom Crean won his last 2 out of 3 vs. UK before he was fired which is pretty shocking and......probably why Cal only has 1 title at UK despite having a ridiculous amount of talent yearly.
Crean beat UK 2 out of the last 3 times he played them though.
