For smoking pot. I didn’t know players were suspended that.Suspend five players for the game and then fall to the mighty Northwestern Wildcats.
Just another day in paradise for our Hoosier neighbors.

Here comes their annual February collapse.Suspend five players for the game and then fall to the mighty Northwestern Wildcats.

How the heck have they never won the B1G tournament? That’s futility at its best. Even some lower rung SEC teams have caught fire before and won a tournament. They basically have to beat Michigan State at East Lansing on Saturday or be in serious jeopardy of missing the NCAA tournament. That would be the TENTH TIME in FOURTEEN YEARS they did not dance.
* This year is also the 20th anniversary of the last time the Hoosiers advanced past the Sweet 16. Think of it: What Kentucky was hugely disappointed to do in 2019, lose in the Elite Eight in Overtime, was farther than Indiana has been since 2002.
* And it is the 35th ANNIVERSARY of the last time the Hoosiers won any kind of post-season tournament, even the Big Ten Tourney.
* And barring a run this year, next year will mark THIRTY YEARS during which Indiana advanced past the Sweet 16 ONCE - that fluke run in 2002 aided by Duke's collapse in a game at Rupp and other upsets in their bracket.
Imagine if dating back to Jamal Mashburn and Travis Ford Kentucky had gotten past the Sweet 16 ONCE. That's how much Indiana sucks.

I live in Evansville also and love it when IU gets beat. Many Kentucky fans in our town.I live in Evansville…. Where are you? But yeah, it’s great to wear UK gear around here….
Nah youIU (fans) & Liberals - both suck, are extremely quiet these days and those that aren't are too stupid to realize how much they suck.
Apologies for getting political, just thought it was a good analogy. I could be wrong...pretty sure I'm not though.
IUse2Be will be fine. They hired a rookie coach with no college experience, so they had to know it'd take the guy 5-6 years to get a feel for the game...Of course, their rookie coach will be 70 by then. But but this year Woodson would lead the movement back to the promise land LMAO i hope the lose out the rest of the season!
They are 7-7 in conference. They finish @ Purdue where they have zero chance to win. So to finish over .500 in conference they have to win 4 of the other 5, which includes road games at Ohio State and Minnesota and home games against ranked Wisconsin and Rutgers - a team scrapping for the tourney. Maybe 10-10 in the B10 gets them in. But that’d be close.Hard to believe they may actually miss out on the Dance yet again.
They have what should be some very winnable games left on their schedule, but their margin for error is down to almost zero, and they are currently playing their worst ball of the year.
Shame.![]()
IU still does this?I used to wonder why they never put player's names on the back of their jerseys.
I think I have figured it out -- The players affiliated with that program want to remain anonymous .
IU had that game won and found another way to lose.Indiana just lost to OSU in OT.
They still suck.

They really did. Just kept jacking up crazy 3s in the last few minutes when they had the lead instead of driving the ball for a decent shot and possibly getting fouled (think they were in the double bonus too).IU had that game won and found another way to lose.
Blew a 4 point lead with the ball in 1:30. Suckage like usual. They find ways to lose with the best of them. Askew should have transferred there. He would be loved.Indiana just lost to OSU in OT.
They still suck.

It was their Super Bowl. Purdue is the big dog now. They’ve gone 2-6 since beating Purdue back in January, losing their fifth straight tonight.
Yeah Rutgers will clean their clock the way they been playing. Totally zapped up IU’s bid this month.7-9 in conference with games left at Purdue and at Minnesota and against red hot Rutgers so .500 in conference is probably not happening. Looks like no NCAA for the 10th time in 14 years.
