Optics wise it sucks because WR has been our strongest position. Don't know if Lebby pushed him out or Mullen recruited him.

Lebby had to save Bump the last 2 years. Just about every receiver we have signed that was good was because Lebby came in and saved him because he had a connection. He had whiffed on in state targets in back to back years. The system produces receivers wherever it goes. It should not be this hard to recruit good ones you don’t have previous connections with to come here.

Love how everyone jumps to blame Lebby for this with no knowledge of the actual situation. Do we know if Lebby is forcing him out (doubtful) or if he's leaving of his own accord because he wants to work for Mullen? Of course we don't... BUT, let's all blame Lebby and call it a huge "PR hit" for him... Do dumb!

There’s really no way to spin losing a coach to UNLV that’s not bad.

I’d like to see who the replacement is first. And who else from this staff won’t be back.

I think Chad’s coaching talent is probably a little overhyped based on him seeming like one of the best of a bad coaching staff. I’m not sure he’s just this great coach either. But certainly understand the argument that we’ve got bigger problems than his group. Which is why I want to see what other changes are made.

There’s a world where you can make sense of this but it will require us making a good replacement hire and perhaps a number of other dismissals of subpar staff members, too.

I wasnt a fan of hiring Bump but have decided I was wrong due to signing good receivers. I never saw him do anything special at his last school. Utah ? They didn't put out any exciting receivers. Im of the opinion we will see how it turns out. Eta Steve Spurrier Jr is the rumor I heard.

Lebby brought in the good receivers this year so don’t worry about that. Rumor was bump was possibly getting fired so he might be trying to jump ship before then

DS - Bumphis is very bummed out about being fired. 1st hand knowledge

Why are you trying to suggest he is leaving for UNLV voluntarily?

We have a very good replacement lined up

Yall are insane. Yall are acting like bump has put 5 wr's into the league. He's been good, not great as all the transfers out and in have shone with a lack of development outside of someone like BT maybe. Idk why yall are acting like he's ruining the offense and not lebby. An offense that all yall have been poopin on for months btw.

Not great PR but everyone said this staff needs an overhaul.
The overhaul is happening to an alumni will get people in their feelings but shouldn’t matter if he’s not doing a great job.
