Statistically he's the best WR we've ever had.
Most career TD receptions. Most TD receptions in a season. 2nd all time in career receptions and only needs 13 more to pass David Smith. Tied for 3rd in 100 yard receiving games in a career. 3rd all time in career receiving yards and only needs 108 yards to break that record.
He has had some not so impressive years, but statistically it's probably the best we've ever seen at MSU.

I agree, but he also has the best QB we have ever had throwing to him. Nonetheless, he has had a great year and should get a chance at the next level.
He also had one of the worst (in throwing) throwing to him too.

I love me some Bumphis. His career numbers are great when put into the MSU perspective, but they're modest overall because he never had a guy to throw it to him. Even worse he's been THE guy all 4 years he's been here and that extra attention has slowed him a little.
Every school has a 1 and 2, but our 2's are a major drop off. We finally got some extra help and it's opened Bump up to have a great senior year.

Bumphis was not going to UM. If we hadnt have hired Dan, he wouldn't have been here either. He has said in an interview that he was prob FL bound but changed his mind when Mullen was hired here.
