I think this is the first time in history that we have both won and lost to the exact same teams. As long as I can remember, I don’t think I’ve seen it. To me this could be a toss up. I think it also depends on how healthy both teams are. I just hope we both come out of it healthy with the uncertainty of the playoff brackets.

Seems these teams are playing well and both could use this game for seeding. As far as the health of both teams, how does that look for both sides? It must be a concern for both sides to be brought up. Both teams could win this one I should be a heck of a game.

After Friday we split into 3A and 4A. We have to come out healthy as I said. Mauney and McGowan ended their seasons injured and we cannot afford that. It’s time to put it all together and see what we are made of from this week and on. I’m not a fan of the bye week unless we need to get healthy but I hate the idea of a 2nd round game after not playing the week before.

Yeah I don't like the 1st round byes. We played really flat after our bye a couple weeks ago against Cherryville. Can't afford to do that in the playoffs.

I know Shelby is favored. I know that doesn’t really matter. We will have to play like we did in the forth quarter againest Stewart Cramer, and like we played the first half in the Linconton game and like we played againest KM but play a whole game with that competitive edge. We can win. After this year, we potentially win for several years.

Weird season.. The Crest vs. KM thread is dead and this one isn’t near the hype as it has been historically. I think between the way the split is now and how it’s RPO based playoffs the excitement just isn’t there like in the past on here. The new site knocked a lot of posters out too.

Burns Offense w/ Davis vs. Shelby Defense- Advantage Burns. I was at EG for the Shelby game and the seemed to have some success running the football at times.

Shelby Offense vs. Burns Defense- I don't think they have an answer for that passing attack Shelby has. Farmer can absolutely wrip it.

Should be a good game.
