Let's get it. Week 1 is a little over a week away. How are things looking in Belmont? We both lost some big names from last year. I honestly haven't heard much from our end either. I'm just excited to see some high school football. Even if it is online.

SP and Forestview scrimmaged and what I saw, FV crushed South Point. Makes me wonder, is FV that good or SP that bad? FV running back #2 was near impossible to tackle in open space. If Burns can take away the FB dive then the Dawgs will prevail. Crest/Forestview could be a tossup.
I watched about the last hour of it....in that portion it was game like. Kings Mtn won 1-0. Both teams defense were really impressive.
I watched a little bit of the full field scrimmage. Defensively we looked decent, but offensively was not very good. We've basically had to replace our entire offensive line and it showed. Having said that, KM may be the best defensive line we see all year.

I agree with that from what i saw. Its so easy to focus on skill guys but it all starts on the line ....plus number 4 will be hard to replace.
I think this is a bad first game matchup for us. We've obviously got some work to do offensively whereas we know the South Point players have been running this offense since they could walk. With the limited amount of off season and practice time, I think that gives SP an edge.
Last year was tough. New coaching staff, discipline problems and injuries all combined to make for a bad year. The coaching staff has a year under their belts, I think most of the discipline issues graduated, and hopefully injuries won’t be quite the issue they were last year. That being said I have no idea what this years team will look like. I heard they didn’t look too good in the scrimmage against Forestview. Hoping for a better year, Good luck to both teams,no injuries and GO BIG RED!
Burns JV won 40-20 last night. I didn't get to watch at all. Anyone have thoughts on this game? How did our QB look? He's supposed to be our future.

They're called preseason rankings for a reason. We lost a lot of playmakers from last season. This will be a tough test for us to start the season.
I watched the 3rd Qtr online last night, Burns QB & their RBs looks really good in the little I saw if them.
I will go with the Dogs in a close one. Whatever happened to Coondog ? Is he scared to post these days.
Coondog only comes around when his politically incorrect Red Raiders are favored to win the conference. 
Does anyone know if Burns will be providing play by play announcer on the stream for the game? Or just the feed.
I have an app where I can pause the radio stream just enough to sync up the TV broadcast (YouTube broadcasted on the TV screen). Audio and video synced. Works perfectly.
