Can someone in our English department teach him how to speak proper English?

When I asked Stansbury about the national perception of MSU basketball because of this situation, he said, <span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'sans-serif'"><font face="Times New Roman">"You know I'm not going to talk no more about all that. You know that. Enough's been said about it, and we're going to move on past all that. I don't worry about things I can't control, so hey."</font></span></p>

I then asked if this is the last chance for Sidney, a 6-10 sophomore, to behave himself.</p>

<span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'sans-serif'"><font face="Times New Roman">"I'm not going to make no more comments on it."</font></span></p>

I later asked if Bailey was encouraged by him or anyone else to leave the program. I made the mistake of prefacing my question with, <font face="Times New Roman"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'sans-serif'">"I know how you're going to answer this,"</span> given his previous answers.</font></p>

Stansbury: <span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'sans-serif'"><font face="Times New Roman">"Since you know the answer to that, I'm going to let you answer it. You're smarter than I am, Brad, how's that? I like a guy who knows the answer before he asks it, Brad."</font></span></p>

Another reporter then asked Stansbury for an explanation for his decision on Sidney and Bailey. Said Stansbury, <span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'sans-serif'"><font face="Times New Roman">"Whatever I said in that release that day is exactly what it is. We're not going to explain any more. I've explained enough over the last two weeks. We're going to move on."</font></span></p>

Actually, B<span id="lw_1294270112_0" class="yshortcuts">ury explained nothing</span> in that release. Go ahead and click on that link and read for yourself.</p>

What is there to explain? The media's beating this one into the ground, and there just isn't anything there. I'd be a jerk, too, if someone kept asking me insignificant questions.

He sounded like a douche for no reason. Some people would really be curious to hear what the coach feels about his schools national perception and if there's anything he plans to do to rectify the situation. Also not commenting on his thoughts on Sidney seemed weak. I know I'd at least try to dispel the perception that Bailey was let go because he was expendable. Stans isn't doing anything to rectify the public image at all.

"I run a glorified AAU program, except I am paid division one money. I have gotten away with this for years. I don't expect to experience any real consequences for how poorly I control scheduling, players or games. Next question?"

He addressed the national perception with Andy Katz. They talked about it on national television repeatedly a week ago. There's really nothing to explain with Sidney and Bailey's reinstatement. It is what it is.He wants to move on, and anyone who doesn't either has an agenda to fulfill, a grudge to hold, or a dead horse to beat. We're about to start conference play. If I was a beat writer, I'd be asking about what kind of shape Dee Bost and Renardo Sidney are in.

This cluster17 is just the latest in a list of total cluster17s. And i damn well want to know the truth behind some of this ****! First the Bost disaster, then the Turner debacle, and now this.
And none of the 3 stories that explain the cluster17s make any sense at all.

So perhaps there is something to explain here. Like the full story. It would be nice to try and make sense of the dumpster fire that is our program.

If the coach is truthfully not in the wrong then he shouldn't have any issue with speaking his mind or at least taking a diplomatic approach by not tarnishing anybody's appearance but giving at least some kind of clarity.

Thing is, I find it insulting that the **** we are fed for justification/explanation on each issue is actually gobbled up and swallowed.
I count 3 issues in the last 8 months that have resulted in bizarro explanations. Ones that if given any thought at all, just dont make sense.

So yeah, I think we should have actual answers to what the F is actually happening. Make some **** up and lie about the Bost scenario, ok. Make up some **** and lie about the Turner scenario, ok again I guess. Seriously, a 3rd time where the official story that is released is total BS in less than a year? Come the hell on. I would like to know what is actually happening.

Talking about it just keeps it alive. Frankly I'm over it. It was a damn fight. Nobody stole some damn laptops or was running a dog fighting ring. **** espn just found some media gold and has been making a living off it. Every college basketball program in the country that is decent is stocked with prima donnas who think they are going to be NBA stars. So Tranny and Elgin are transferring, we're going to miss those 5.9 combined points per game. No player who has transferred out has made it to the nba as far as I can remember.

I'm not a Stans lover, I can't stand the Stansbury Stall offense but managing this gaggle of idiots would drive anyone made. Players like Twanny should be delighted they are getting a scholarship.
