As I posted in another thread, he OC'd a productive offense at Boise in 23.

No, associate HC. I assume basically an Offensive analyst to assist Lebby and a QB whisperer.
As long as he understands to RTMFB, run the clock down and punt out of bounds when up 17 points in the 4th, I'm good with it.
It appears he has the experience to bring a much slower pace to the offense. Maybe the defense will get regular breathers

yeah its a good thing he won't be calling plays....he is here to develop Kamario Taylor and refine his raw talent. Has mostly NFL background.
His one season as a position coach at the Falcons makes that much difference?
Maybe doesn’t impact the scheme itself or the individual plays, but for the love of all that is holy I hope that it affects the pace of play and situational playcalling.
Lebby badly needs an eye in the sky to occasionally throttle the pace of play, and be able to recognize and communicate things like “they’re baiting us to QB keep every time on the zone read”. And also to make clear when we’re in 4-down territory so that it gets incorporated into playcalling on 3rd down.
Then we can scream at it for being too conservative like we did Mullen!!
