What pitcher got better this year as opposed to last? And who decides which pitcher to bring into the ball game and sub him out after facing two batters and getting one batter out and walking another and his replacements walks a batter gives up a hit, but he gets to stay in until he beans the guy in the head to bring in the tying run. Butch sucks, face it. We tore up Auburn's pitchers and that was his old stomping grounds.

BINGO. Not to mention that our BB/K ratio is horrid to say the least. That is all on the pitching coach period. I don't care how bad our pitchers are talent wise if they can't throw strikes and never learn to get any better at throwing strikes throughout the season that is all on Butch. He must go.

decisions about the pitching staff and on field changes...please just log off.

Guys we have what we have...for this year...no point to beat that dead horse any longer.

Thompson has a solid bio...or he would not have been hired in the first place. Cohen was very familiar with his capabilities, and respected him.

Thompson has been in the SEC for several years...he's not doing anything different... just, we have what we have.

His bio is average at best. I think Cohen knew he was a good recruiter and determined that our talent level was really low and that we needed recruits more than anything. Now, when we as fans want to see some type of tangible improvement, we're not getting it primarily because of what's happening on the mound.

They were bitching about how Reinstetle (I think) was doing too much coaching and not enough recruiting. All the while going to regionals every year. Damned if you do damned if you don't.
