I say it's a seller's market. It's takes a mentally tough team to win on the road in the SEC and I don't trust "Big Sid" or "Stan's"offenseenough to pull it off.

won at Detroit, lost at pigville

That leaves:
at UM
at Vandy
at Florida
at LSU
at Auburn
at Bama
at South Carolina

So we have to win four of those to have a winning record......I believe we can get four of those.

From most likely to least likely, I have:
at South Carolina
at Auburn
at UM
at LSU
at Florida
at Vandy
at Bama

I have so little belief in winning at Vandy or at Bama, that I would almost be willing to say the four have to come from the other five.

We have to get five. Take care of bidness against the dregs (AU and USC), continue to beat the rival (UM), knock down the supposed upstart (LSU) and get one that would be a surprise (Florida). Boom - five.

I'll bet on us all day @ Auburn, LSU, ole miss, and USC

No chance @ Vandy and Florida

All rides on Alabama. Yes, they gave us hell after we went 0 for 14 from range. If they zone us all game in their place, there's no way we don't shoot better than that. And they're not stopping Moultrie. At this point, I'll take us. If we drop another game or 2 we shouldn't without winning any we shouldn't, I'm out.

We haven't won in Memorial since who knows when... don't think we will sneak a win there. Also, we've only won once in Coleman since 2004, and those were VERY close wins. Don't think we will sneak a win there. I'll be happy to go 1-1 with Bama. <div>
</div><div>My Predicted Road Wins:</div><div>@USCe- TERRIBLE team</div><div>@UM- Stansbury has Kennedy's number, and without a big scorer, UM will have a hard time scoring enough points.</div><div>@UF- We are surprisingly successful against Donovan and Florida. If we bring our A-game, I expect us to pull this one out, so long as they don't light it up from 3 point land. Including tournament play, we have only lost once to Florida since 2007.</div><div>@Auburn- Again, a terrible team, but this one could be much closer than we think since Auburn always seems to find a RAT when we play there. </div><div>
</div><div>My Predicted Losses:</div><div>@Bama- Don't have much success in Coleman, and Bama does a great job defending their home floor.</div><div>@Vandy- Don't know WHY we have terrible karma in Memorial, but we do. This could be a heartbreaker for the Maroon faithful.</div><div>@LSU- tough LSU defense and poor shooting will be our undoing here.</div><div>@Arkansas- Already happened. We let them run track on us and ran us out of the gym. </div>

I'm not a Stansbury hater, nor usually a pessimist, but I'm not expecting great things in the regular season.

I see us losing @Vandy, @Florida, @Alabama, and one of @OleMiss, @LSU, @Auburn, @SC. That'd put us at 3-5 on the road.

At home I think we'll lose to UK and Ark and one of the rest, putting us at 5-3. 8-8 overall. Win a game in the tournament, 10 seed.

If we don't win 6 games before Feb 14, we could be in trouble.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you may not be too far off. Although I do feel like we will finish above .500 overall in the league, I think the road games will fall in at 3-5 with an outside shot at 4-4. I'm no Stans hater, either, but my confidence level in his abilities takes a hit a little more each season.

I think this team is good enough to do it, but I still don't trust us away from home. If we can continue to win the battle in the paint like we did against Bama, I think we can go on the road and do well. If Sid can play 28 effectiveminutes like he did Saturday, that will greatly improve our chances

I think we lose @Vandy, @Bama, we've already lost @Arkansas, and we play 4 of our last6 SEC games on the road. We will lose one in that stretch against Auburn, LSU, or SC, and right now I'm leaning toward us losing @Auburn.

I still believe that there is NO WAY we get all the way through this thing without an eruption du fuego ala dumpster. There WILL be an occurrence that can be tied directly to the annual leadership vacuum, lack of heart, selfishness, lack of focus, etc.

suggesting Stansbury is the second coming of Phil Jackson, his team (with his offense) in 04 went undefeated on the road. It's not completely outrageous to think we could.
