Buy.

The Celtics can do it. At 23-2, they've tied the best record for the first 25 games of a season. The team they tied is of course the 96 Bulls. They'll need to finish out the year 50-7 to beat the Bulls record, which seems damn near impossible. However, if they average a 7-1 record up until one last game left in the season, they would be playing the last game of the regular season to set the record.

I'll also mention the Lakers at 20-3 and the Cavs at 20-4, but neither one of those teams will do it. I don't love it.

In closing, Chris Paul can tie the mark for consecutive games with a steal (105) tonight in Memphis. Buy/Sell this if ya want to. I'm buying in bulk.

I don't really care either way, but I'm just gonna play the odds here. Someone will get hurt via self-inflicted gun shot to the leg or injuries will pop up or off the court issues... The stars really have to line up for this to happen.

As much as I'd like to see the Celtics win 73, it's a long, long season and I don't think that will happen.

Rajon Rondo. While I'm not ready to name him the Easter Conference All-Star starter, like some ESPN analysts have, his improvement has been the difference. They are better this year, and if he continues to play at this level they'll win 73.

that record is unbelievable. yes, they've been hot to start the year. yes, they are the most loaded team (talent-wise) in the league. but i would sell and sell big because that record is an amazing feat. i think they'll stumble at some point, where they'll have an average 2 or 3 week span (or just one bad week).

i think they'll still have one of the best records ever, but i wouldn't bank on them breaking the record. 72-10 is absurd, when you think about it. i think boston finishes with 13-15 losses. didn't they have 15 or 16 Ls last year? that's still VERY good.

Unless they are pushed for home court advantage, they might let up at the end of the season.

I'm buying on the CP3 question.

It's the right year for them to do it. Nobody in the East is any real threat outside of Cleveland. The league is a little down this year. It depends on whether they go for it down the stretch or reduce the minutes of the Big 3. Of course, Lebron and company may be breathing down their necks for homecourt advantage (ditto for the Lakers) so they may not be able to afford to ramp it down later in the season.</p>
