They are playing their way out for sure. Kentucky is all but in now.

I think SEC still gets 5 teams in with Florida and Arkansas fighting for the last spot. Give that slight edge to Florida at the moment.

you really think the NCAA wants to do the tournament without it's premier player, Gary Ervin? That would be TRAGIC.

They are a much better team than what they have shown lately. They will get in as a 10 seed and surprise someone for 2 games...I can easily see them in the sweet 16...doesn't mean i want that though.

GARY ERVIN STILL SUCKS!!!

I'm surprised this road loss hurt their RPI that bad. If the tournament were held today, I think they'd be left out. They need 3 more wins and possibly 4. They'll get 2 wins at home. The key game for them will be at Mississippi. If the Mississippi that kicked our *** and played Kentucky close shows up, Arkansas will lose that game. If the Mississippi that lost to LSU and Auburn shows up, Arkansas will win. If they lose to Mississippi, then their first round SECT game against Vandy/Kentucky will be a very tough must win game for them.

Edited to add that I just saw one of their home games is against Vandy. So they're going to have one tough home game. I still think they win that one, but it will be tough.

As crazy as it sounds, the OM-Arkansas game may be for an NCAA spot. If OM finishes 7-9 and Ark the same (or even 8-8), Ole Miss would get the nod over Arkansas.

I can see your arguement if Ole Miss and Arkansas both have a 7-9 record, but I don't agree that a 7-9 Ole Miss team would get in over an 8-8 Arkansas team- unless Ole Miss beats them again in the SEC Tournament.

If they do that, then I agree. They're going to have a very tough neutral site game to get to the semis though. Right now it looks like they'll get #7 Vandy in the quarterfinals. I think Arkansas can probably beat them at Bud Walton, but in Atlanta it'll be a whole different story.
