I think that hit was more "blind squirrel finding a nut" than breaking a slump. He just happened to guess right on that one.

They look different to me. Hines’ mechanics are a mess. His shoulder is flying open, that back hip is moving on every pitch, a ton of check swings. There’s a lot to clean up there.

Dakota’s swing looks fine, he is just having trouble picking up spin.

If only there were people that specialized in working on mechanics of hitters to help them out on these things. If there were we could hire one to have on staff.
