It surely wouldn't hurt, but I don't think Pearl lands the SEC based just off that.

The CUSA tournament at Trustmark will have great attendance by any other college baseball standards other than the SEC tournament. But the SEC tournament in Hoover routinely averages more in attandance than Trustmark can hold, even with an overflow crowd. And the SEC tournamment drawn more than twice as many as Trustmark can hold many times.

i know i was sitting around today thinking it may be fun to go out there when the tournament goes on but if we cant hold half as many as Hoover that is a hard sell. Side note, Jackson missed a gold mine putting that downtown
