Buy/Sell.. DJ left b/c Deville is moving Bost to the 2...

DJ thought he would be behind only one guy at the 2 spot, but with Deville playing so well at the 1, Bost is now moving to SG some.
I am not so sure that our coached really thought Deville would be ready so soon.. This is a good thing for STATE, sucks for DJ though..

Angela said it was a matter of D.J. being third in line at the two guard
spot. She said D.J. had been told by coaches during recruitment that he
would be the No. 2 player at that spot.

"After he got down there and saw that three number two guys, he felt like then that he was lied to," Angela said. "And of course I kept talking back and forth to coach (Marcus) Grant, and he was assuring me, 'No, he's No. 2,' this, that and the other."</p>

She added, "He felt like that he would be benched, so that's why he did go to them with the redshirt idea."</p>

Soft only because Bost will still play the majority of his minutes at the 1, but he will be taking some minutes at the 2 as well. DJ knew who was on the roster before he signed. He should have known that he was going to have to compete for those spots.

by the time SEC season rolls around. Bost will start at the beginning of the year, but it won't be long before he's freed up at his natural position, and DeVille will handle the ball and chip in his points too. He's too talented to stay on the bench for long.

since DJ may be concerned he will come in and be ahead of him as well next year. I just can't believe Gardner would be THAT put off his freshman year about guys like Bost and Bryant who will both be gone next year. I mean next year it would have been Steele, Gardner and Sword at the 2. If Pollard comes though we may even play Hood some at the 2 next year.

Bost will play the 1 some but no way they can keep Deville off the floor. He is some kind of quick and Bost is okay with playing either spot. Both gurads committed next year would have played ahead of D J and I think he saw the handwriting on the wall.
