Does ourstadium capacity give bowl committees the impression that we have a small non-traveling fanbase.

I am saying a HUGE BUY, especially if they simply summarize facts ( bama, lsu, florida, georgia, sc, tenn, au, and ark all around 80k or more) um 62, State 55, vandy much smaller.

Now before I am executed, I know that our fanbase is smaller than most of the schools mentioned, but I wonder if we are starting to hurt ourselves a little.

It's a quick measurable they would look at that doesn't stack up well with others in our conference. I could easily see that playing against us during bowl selection time...

These bowl executives are way too smart to just look at the size of our stadium. They know full well that we have packed that stadium since Mullen has arrived. They also know full well that we have sold every bit of our allotment plus more for the all of our bowl games in recent history. We were the Liberty bowl in 2007. We had a very strong contingent in the 98 Cotton bowl despite the fact that we were only 3 hours from the home field of Texas. Same thing goes for the Peach bowl against Clemson in 99. Also, I wasn't at the 2000 Indy Bowl, but we had at least half of that stadium in MSU maroon if I remember correctly.

Our stadium size is not hurting us when it comes to bowl selection. That said, I hope we expand DWS ASAP. I trust Stricklin & Dan to get it done right as well, but I really want to see us bump capacity to 65 to 67K really soon. We have the coach in place & the excitement in the fanbase to do it, so get it done.
