passes after we've 'secretly' hired someone but have not announced it gives Saban, Spurrier, Nutt and others more free shots at our recruiting class. So, dumb move for two reasons if we wait on announcing anything.

it becomes more obvious that Byrne is having to "sell" this job to a coordinator. Reportedly two bills are on the table for a coordinator and there are still questions?

I am becoming convinced that this delay has precious little to do with timing and more to do with the fact that nobody we want is interested.
