you get the picture. there are no do overs. having said that, i think the UT game is decided by 3 points. of course i also said georgia tech was a sure win.
Our coach coaches for a 1-possession down to the wire game. Given a chance to score on LSU at the end of the half, he turned it down. Given a chance to step on Vandy's throat with 5 min left in the 4th, we gave Vandy TWO more possessions. Last year, given a chance to close the door on Alabama, Croom gave them another possession which our defense finally shut down once Bama was in striking distance. Croom gave Central Florida chances late in the Liberty Bowl until our 1st year QB drew plays on a napkin and handed them to coach.
Croom's best case scenario in any game is to make it a one possession game (for either team) that goes down to the wire where our players are expected to will a win in spite of our coaches. THAT is the best Croom can do for us.

that Crxxm did call for the pass play on 3rd and long at the end of the Vandy game that allowed us to keep the ball and run the clock out. I thought that was a very rare good, non-ultra-conservative play call on his part. And I would not have criticized him if the pass had been incomplete.
