he should be named the starter and begin to become comfortable running the show. Relf, for all the preseason hype, is no better than last year. He is very inaccurate, makes poor decisions on a regular basis and isn't even all that effective running the option. There is no doubt that we miss Anthony Dixon--much more than people thought, but our offense is disjointed and no one fears our passing attack. Russell will make his share of mistakes as a Freshman and will have a rude adjustment, but is simply too good a passer to leave on the bench while Relf lets the offense stagnate.

All he's done is passed so far this year. Let him manage the offense running and passing for 2 drives. If it doesn't work, put Relf back in. Russell can't do worse than Relf. We look clueless with Relf.
