Buy/Sell State v Texas would be televised on local TV too.

So, I know this is Germans. But I learn yesterday that OM v Texas which is televised by the Longhorn Network will be carried by many local TV stations around the state and Memphis. Why do I firmly believe this doesnt happens if it is State v Texas.

I am amazed a CBS affiliate is going to televise a ESPN owned broadcast.

WJTV and a host of others do this every Saturday at 11.

Reading the article, first I don't buy that ESPN took the lead and made this happen. I believe it was probably more of OMs AD and his staff. 2. It says the local affiliates "allow" this to be televised. I can't speak for Jackson but no way, none, that WREG Memphis "allows" a 7pm Saturday night broadcast of MSU football. We just don't have the stroke in Memphis to make that happen.

Also, this isn't some regional broadcast where a contract is in place (11am Jp/Lincoln). This local stations picking up a one time PPV game....basically. No way Striklin and company make that happen. We would all be at the BWW cussing the manager because UTEP vs Rice was playing instead of our game.
