Students pay $20 for football tickets and basketball tickets. That's $40 total. Half of that is used by the AD for operating and half is set in an account for capital improvements. Also wish that students would be put on a points system similar to Bulldog Club. More games/events you attend better seats you get at say basketball and football. Florida has something like this and many times on Seniors at UF get into games.

Student football tickets = $56 and basketball = $20

That is $76.00 and less than ONE NIGHT on the town for a boy & girl to go on a date, eat dinner, and drink the rest of the night away.

Edited to add: I do like the points accumulation idea.

But get there if you want good seats. The rowdies tried the preferred seat thing and it was a load of junk. They dont yell any louder than a normal student does

It makes my head hurt that for the past 3 years this has been something I have talked to many people about and feel is the most important issue to get going...the Student Bulldog Club.
Only thing worse than not getting our graduating alumni involved immediately (Say with a Free years membership in the Bulldog Club as many other schools do) but even better
is get the students involved with the Bulldog Club WHILE IN SCHOOL...with a point system much like you mention. Marketing, Student Association, and others have sat on this saying it is in the works
and another year goes by.

I think student football tickets should be more expensive anyways to help out the athletic department. I have also always liked the first come first serve seating for the student section because if you care enough about sitting in a good seat you should get there that much earlier to get it.
