we lose tomorrow and fail to make the NCAAT.

My pick: Sell. We lose essentially no one off of this team. The top team in the SEC loses 3 starters. We will be a force to be reckoned with in the SEC next year. I predict Kodi will realize his best shot at a pro career is to stay in Starkville on a team that will go places. I predict JV will stay and this team will be preseason SEC favorites. We will not have the pre-conference letdowns we had this year.

Before the season started nobody thought this was an NCAA tourney team. Three new starters and a roster full of freshman made everyone think this would be an NIT squad. Sure we lost some games we shouldn't have, but you'll get that with a young team. We're also 7-1 against the mighty East and one win away from the Big Dance. If everybody comes back, this team should contend for the overall SEC championship next season.

of the only prediction that I've made this season: that somehow, some way, State would find a way to get all of our NCAA tourney hopes up. I also said that we would then NOT make it, and leave us all looking back at the season and wondering what if we had won one more game.

This team could have gone toes up...but haven't and they are giving all they have. Can't ask much more than that.
