Defense ends the season over the last 5 games of 2014 in the Top 5.

Huge Sell. Both Bama and Ole Miss will move the ball at will on us. Everyone

has. Like everyone we play with the exception of Kentucky, we will slow them down in the red zone. Bama will score in the 30s. Ole Miss will score in the high 20s.

Bama game will be more in the 20s. Upigg showed Bama is not strong on the OL. LSU will further expose that. Cameron Robinson (starting LT/ #1 recruit 2 yrs ago) may not play. Cooper may get his, but I expect LSU to hand State the blueprint on Sat. night.

TSUN game will be in the teens. Unlike Bama they'll be without their dominant receiver. They have no running game. UPigg will emasculate them the week before. I full expect a #WeBelieve2014.

What about Bama's offense makes you think they can score 30 points on anyone with a pulse on defense?
Amari Cooper is a beast but Sims is maybe the 4th best QB in the west?? Dak >Marshall >> Wallace probably? Hill? Sims? Who knows.

Scoring -- gotta pitch 2 shutouts against ut Martin and vandy to have a shot.

The State D has flexed its muscles for a whole game. With the everything on the line in T-Town, I think we'll see the best.

But when the State D does flex its muscles, this happens...

which works against even the best of defenses

I'll buy that we ARE a top 5 defense. May not show on a per game basis, but we allow 5th fewest points per possession and have the 8th best no gain/loss per play.

I think at least, if not more harmful to the D's stats than garbage time are extra possessions allowed via turnovers. Already tied our total from last season.
