While the nation flocks to theaters to celebrate the life of former University of Mississippi standout Michael Oher, and his incredible story of love and understanding that crosses all racial boundaries, Ole Miss is engaging in it's own fight to exercise the demons of it's troubled racial past. In a move reminiscent of the old robe and burning cross days of Ole Miss the university student body reminds all those who strive for racial equality that Vaught-Hemingway stadium is a lost cause. Because at every game when the band draws to the end of the Confederate National anthem the student body loudly, and proudly, shouts "the South will rise again!"
