So far, Vandy has notched wins over Miami OH, South Carolina, Rice and Ole Miss.
They are playing like we did last year...getting a lot of turnovers and finding a way to win without being particularly impressive. Also Chris Nickson is really good.
But looking at their remaining schedule, this is what I see:
Auburn - L
at MSU - L
at Georgia - L
Duke - W
Florida - L
at Kentucky - L
Tennessee - L
at Wake Forest - L
Other than Duke, I don't see how you could favor them in any of their games left. Sure, they might find another win...they could definitely win at Starkville, but I give a slight edge to us after yesterday's game. A home win over Tennessee is definitely possible, especially if Tennessee only has 3 or 4 wins at that point. Maybe they could pull one out in Lexington also.
Of course it'd be very like Vandy to lose to Duke, and the way Cutcliffe has Duke playing, it may not be as unlikely as you'd think.
I'm going to be bold and BUY that Vanderbilt doesn't reach a bowl.
