So far, Vandy has notched wins over Miami OH, South Carolina, Rice and Ole Miss.
They are playing like we did last year...getting a lot of turnovers and finding a way to win without being particularly impressive. Also Chris Nickson is really good.

But looking at their remaining schedule, this is what I see:
Auburn - L
at MSU - L
at Georgia - L
Duke - W
Florida - L
at Kentucky - L
Tennessee - L
at Wake Forest - L

Other than Duke, I don't see how you could favor them in any of their games left. Sure, they might find another win...they could definitely win at Starkville, but I give a slight edge to us after yesterday's game. A home win over Tennessee is definitely possible, especially if Tennessee only has 3 or 4 wins at that point. Maybe they could pull one out in Lexington also.
Of course it'd be very like Vandy to lose to Duke, and the way Cutcliffe has Duke playing, it may not be as unlikely as you'd think.

I'm going to be bold and BUY that Vanderbilt doesn't reach a bowl.

they will win at least 2 more...

So far this season, in 8 2nd half quarters, they have only allowed 10 points....somebody is making some great coaching adjustments...

I think they beat us, Dook, possibly Tennessee, and Wake Forest....</p>

dont see it happening this year. They will beat Duke, More than likely MSU, Good chance to beat KY (KY will be on their what... 7th straight SEC game when they meet?), Could easily beat TN, and should beat WF.

I think they'll finish 6-6, but 5-7 wouldn't shock me. Although, after the way Auburn's offense looked maybe even worse against Tennessee than it did against us, I'm not totally sold that they'll beat Vandy this weekend.

Um, I call ********. The reigning SEC Coach of the Year told us all that halftime adjustments are a figment of the media and fan's imagination since all you have time to do at halftime is get some water and rest.

I think you're right on with Auburn but I agree that they'll lose that one. If they win it?...they'll definitely get six and maybe seven.

I think 6 and maybe 7 but probably 6 since they're Vandy. I was at their game in Oxford. That's a BAD offense...horrendous really. I know that UM has a pretty darn good defensive line that helped them against VU. Ours is pretty solid, too. We're going to do a good job against their run game. I'm convinced of it. The safeties will be busy in run support and making plays.

After moving the ball just a little against LSU I think we'll see fewer offensive mistakes (i.e.-turnovers) on our side and we'll find a way to score enough to beat them in Starkville.

The shine will come off VU pretty fast after that but with all the mediocre teams or teams with poor offenses left on their schedule, the Dores will still find a way to eke out 2 more wins playing solid D and making fewer mistakes than their opponents.
