I think the Packers will do everything they can do to get him into the AFC. Not sure if push came to shove whether they would deal him to an NFC team (but definitely not one in their division) or just keep him on their roster.

the Packers would be foolish to release him and nobody is going to trade away valuable assets for a guy who is gonna be with you for a year, maybe two. Besides, without the proper coach he could very easily devolve back into the gunslinger/interception machine that he had become. McCarthey reeled his *** in and made him stop playing foolishly last year and he had one of his best years ever.

I don't know a whole lot about the NFL's economic structure or anything, but aren't the Packers gonna take a pretty big salary cap hit if they keep him on their roster, since they proceeded through the offseason assuming they wouldn't have him? If that's the case and nobody will trade for him, they might end up having no other choice than releasing him.
