If we are lucky enough to get rid of Croom, a new coach comes in next year and takes us to a bowl game. I think with the returning offense, we could be decent

I think next year will be a struggle no matter who is the coach is.

I keep reading that we will be bad next year regardless, but if you look at the fact we return our two deep in OL, we return all Qb's, our WR will be better because we do have a little talent there, and all RB's return we should have something to build on the offense. D we lose a lot, but I think we have recruited some very good players on this side of the ball. Love, Burns, Jackson, Cooper, Ferguson, and if we land the JUCO kid with the RS we have we could have enough depth to compete. LB will solid with White the return of Chaney, and the young guys we played this year. AJ will be back, and Mitchell and Smith look to be solid. It may be just me but I think a good coach could win with the talent we have returning. We need a home run threat and another JUCO OL

I think a decent coach could get six with what we have returning. Most of our offense, d-line will take a hit, but we have 37 DE's, and even better our ST's like likely improve with the graduation of John Micheal Carlson and McShank.

Then you look at the schedule, we better beat JSU if we have a trained monkey on the sidelines, then we have Vandy, UK and MTSU on the road, so we can "steal" a couple of road wins there potentially. We SHOULD beat Houston with a good coach, so that's four right there. Egg Bowl is a toss up, as usual, but it would be in Starkville. And all of our tougher opponents are at home, so maybe we upset someone like Alabama, or maybe we beat GT straight up.
