If Pat Patterson sets up an official visit to MSU, the bad visit was all ********.

Since I already believe it's ********. But if he does that, I guess it will be official.

for the reason that sometimes people make bad first impressions, but overcome that. Like apparently Mullen did with Tebow. Between MSU fans saying he made a bad first impression with Russell ( I saw that from MSU fans before I ever saw an OM fan say that) and reading here that he did the same thing with Tebow, I certainly don't see if farfetched at all.

That said, I see it as entirely possible that a coach could apologize for being misunderstood and then make a much better impression.

He told Patterson his girlfriend likes the white meat.

Basically, that's what my sources say.

was going to de-commit months ago....everyone here called BS.

We told you the in-home visit went sour.....everyone here called BS.

Now, that doesn't mean Mullen....the great one can't turn it all around.

But at this point, unless something has changed recently......I'd say Rhode Island Institute for the Blind has a better chance of signing him.</p>

...any Rebel coming to this board & swearing to inside knowledge of a Patterson recruiting visit is akin to Mutt the Hoople suddenly embracing the 14th amendment.

......a few people around here into believing this "bad visit" ********, or to jump all over these gullible 17ing idiots for buying it. And what I mean by "bad visit" is all the crazy nonsense that's been alleged to have happened. Maybe the visit didn't "go well," but that's nothing out of the norm for recrutiing season. You don't win 'em all.

I do know Mullen "pissed off" Patterson. I doubt it was anything nearly as drastic as these ******** like OM Grad are claiming. But the fact is Mullen did or said something to rub Patterson the wrong way.

I never said any of the crazy stuff you are alluding too. I wasn't told that and I don't believe it either, though I guess it could be true.

All I've heard is about the allegation (though misunderstood) that PP was a liar and they made him leave before he had a chance to explain himself.

Contacts also say he's soured Russell, but the contacts were not in the same room with Russell....so I don't know about that.

I think it's foolish for anyone to believe all went well with Patterson, because it has the appearance that it didn't.

Time will tell on Russell.

One other thing, many here claim Yancy started that about Russell. I'm not here to defend Yancy, but he was the first to say Croom was fired.

Think about it.

BAAAAAAAAA. The way you talk about recruiting is so creepy. Like it is something to be proud of to know someone who knows something about high school recruiting. You are proud to have inside information on what goes on in a high school football players house. You are a creep.

Also, this "yancy" fellow was definately not the first person to say croom was fired. Thats laughable sheep drivel from you.

I thought message boards were designed to state facts and opinions. Obviously I was wrong.

Also-you can go back in the archives of this board to find the first mention of Croom being fired.

Glad to see you made it through the New Year, I don't know what I would do without having my very own personal stalker.

I only like to post when you say something creepy or gay. Obviously I have been very busy lately.

Yeah, I am going to search the archives to find something. I will get right back to you. Idiot. So this "Yancy" guy was the first to report Croom was fired anywhere? You are a liar. It is just not true.

What he meant to say was that Yancy was the first source where HE, OleMissGrad, heard about Croom's firing. It was already news everywhere else.

here is what I don't understand about you - you have some inside sources with high school athletics - maybe you were a high school football coach (or junior high like c34). And these sources give you information that is almost always a negative for msu, and then you come to a msu message board to rub **** in our face - that is mostly rumor or conjecture. do you ever hear anything from your sources that is a positive for msu? do you hear **** about um and post that elsewhere under a different moniker?

I've never been a HS or JH coach and I can think of only about 1/2 dozen HS coaches that I personally know well enough to discuss these type things with them. I don't recall posting anything that was a rumor unless I specified it as a rumor.

I post positive things about MSU if I hear it. I post about Ole Miss all the time under this same moniker on at least 6-7 Ole Miss forums. Actually, a lot of what I post about Ole Miss isn't well received either, because it's posted whether good or bad for the program.

that Cohen left UK's program in shambles. Just because he was right about Croom doesn't mean that he's necessarily right about Russell.

Hell, I didn't know Croom had been fired, but I was telling people that night that "something was going on" and that I wouldn't be surprised if Croom was fired. Everyone knew something was up when Byrne didn't show up at his press conference. That was just on my own intuition with no sources or anything.
