after watching the memphis game and hearing the crowd pull for the underdog, udub may not have as much home court advantage as previously thought. partly due to the support from the ducks, like em or not. i'm buying.

Reason being, I don't think MSU is seen as quite the underdog. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a few more of the neutral fans cheering for you, but I doubt it'll be like Northridge. This is more of a David/Goliath than MSU/UW, especially with the line only at 6 for your game.

I think a 13 seed beating a 4 seed would be a massive upset. Believe me there will be plenty of fans rooting for State if for no other reason than to eliminate the favorite. Regardless, the crowd is rarely a major factor at these NCAA tourney games, unless you are playing Texas in Dallas or something along those lines.

neutral fans (of the 2 teams playing later) get very vocal for the little guy in the david v. goliath matchup. sure, they'll cheer for us, but i don't think they'll be as vocal as they would if we were north dakota state.

i do think, though, that we will have at least some significant support.</p>
