Next weekend at Tennessee is realistically the last decent shot we have of winning an SEC series.

It's a huge buy for me. We are absolutely god awful. Polk has completely destroyed any goodness he brought to the program.

Think about this: When Polk came onto the scene we were a midlevel SEC team. After this season, we will have been a cellar team for the past two years. Thanks Polk!

Now, if you're talking about 2001, I'll actually add to that- when he took over we were coming off of a SEC Tournment Championship and a SR appearance.

UK is now 4-8 in conference play like us, after they got swept by UM. So we may have a shot at 2 on SBW. I'm not sure we can win 2 at UT because we are so dreadful on the road. I have to admit, I was wrong about this team. I told several people before the season that we wouldn't be very good, but Cohen damn sure would not finish with an overall losing record and that we would probably sneak in the SEC tourney in the 8th spot. Wrong on both those predictions. I wonder what Cohen says in private about the mess he inherited and if he really knew it was this bad. I don't think he did. Whoever said that Mullen's situation wasn't this bad was right. And that's really saying something.
