This is not a big deal. It's only interesting because anything to do with Jackie is interesting. Even if it turns out to be a violation, it's minor and self-reported.

I think the open practices are awesome. It certainly has a lot of people excited and talking about the program. I see so many up-sides for open spring practices, and so few down. Croom just didn't want anyone watching him screw up the program. Now, the fall is a different animal entirely.
