Creighton will NOT be in the dance next year with what they will likely have back. Patton is one. Foster could bolt as well. I'll take NU in a bet next year even in Omaha.

Until next year when they are playingbin the NCAA and we are finishing up another 12-16 win season.

Personally, these early round games bore me to death. Creighton didn't make it past that so it's like they never went. just. don't. care. As far as NU goes, we are who we are (historically). Although I hated how the season ended I would give Miles one more year. We're just never going to get a big time coach to come to Lincoln by throwing money at them. As far as Creighton goes I just don't care about them. This is a Husker board. I never rooted for them when I lived in Omaha and I didn't know anyone who did. I'm not a bandwagon fan so even if my team loses I don't hop on the latest and greatest. I will pick a team to root for or against come the championship game. My wife will immediately root for the opposite team. Haha!

That's a ton of bold statements in so little words. Where exactly is Foster going? He's not on anyone's mock drafts. Second, what bet are you willing to make between NU & CU? I don't ever pull for anyone in that game. Actually I call it "my most hated sports game of the year". But the gambler in me states that's a good bet to take. So just wondering.

Bottom line, fosters coming back and if Patton returns, your going to be eating your words

Creighton played ugly. Patton and Foster both did not play well. Foster is a number two guy on a team. He struggles being 'the guy.'

They couldn't rebound on either end of the court and got no help from their bench (Zierden was pathetic, especially for a Senior, would hate for that performance to be my last game). That was an embarrassing effort by a more talented team.

No offense but my favorite thing is guy who doesn't care, yet posts in a thread clearly titled. It wasn't like it was a thread titled NCAA tourney. But it's cool. Do whatcha do.

As far as sooner guy goes, hit me up. I'll take whatever action you are willing to lay down. With or without Foster and/ or Patton.

All the Nebraska basketball hate. Think of it this way Nebraska has a record that no Power 5 team has nor one that can be broken forever in history ha ha.

I don't hate Creighton, but.... it's nice to see their fans share our misery. So we will see them this fall cheering for UNL!!?? No?

I What misery do we share? They lost a tournament game we won 12 games.

Thank goodness Ohio St fans are sharing our misery after their CFP loss compared to our bowl game Music City Bowl game loss

feel they have been set up for success and we have been circulating the toilet bowl. We have not been successful in basketball and they have. So I stand by what I say. I will see you this fall!!

It's a HUSKER board. If you (or anyone else) posts rah-rah posts about another team I'm free to comment "I don't care" and not be bothered that amuses another team's cheerleader. I don't bet on ball games to make them interesting. They either are or they are not.

This has been the most boring first round of the NCAA Tournament I can remember. No major upsets, very few close games.

This is a Nebraska board since we didn't play in the tournament we shouldn't have a thread discussing it.

Did I get that right bigboxes?

Not sure what I wrote could be described as rah rah for anyone. It was more an indictment on fans of a team sitting at home talking **** about teams teams in the NCAA tournament.

As far as the betting, I wasn't talking to to you, so I am not concerned as to who or why you bet on games.

Good night sir

Yeah I totally feel Creighton's pain - sucks to lose to the defending national champion in the finals of your conference tournament, then get bounced in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. We Husker fans get to feel that miserable every 25 years or so. Just to ease the pain, we refer to it as The Golden Era of Nebraska Basketball.

I would have preferred CU win, just because Danny Hurley was always a coach I could see Nebraska possibly (probably not likely) go after.

No that URI went on their run in their conference tourney and bounced CU, I see bigger and better programs going after him now.

IF they are both back next year, and I think it's a big IF, with the PG transfer from Syracuse, they'll easily be in the Dance next year.

A few weeks ago Bernie Bickerstaff was at the Clink scouting for the Cavs. They will assumingly have a late 1st round pick, so I was curious who he was specifically there to scout. I kind of wondered if they were looking at Foster, since projections for JP were pretry high at that time.

Yea, I was impressed with Danny Hurley Rhode Island team and was thinking the same thing that this guy could be a good hire for Nebraska but now someone more likely will beat us to it.
