I presume that is a public school -- what's it called University school or something like that? How does that school work?

"Retard Counter" under your name? Of course, that can be taken two ways -- so I could see how you wouldn't like that.

you're the AD at Arizona. You get an offer to come to say...USM or Ole Miss and don't really have a personal interest in MSU other than you graduated there. You would get to move home closer to your family and your roots and get a small pay raise.

Tuscon is in the middle of the freaking desert. It is hot as hell. The air force has their plane boneyard there because of the very low humidity.

break it down further with the old timey clinical distinctions between idiots, morons, and imbeciles. I always tried to tell him "They don't like that any more, Dad." And he would say that it didn't matter, because those are clinical terms.

when confronted by my grandmother not to use the "r" word, "Look woman, they're retarded. What the hell do they know about what I'm saying?"

+3, dammit.

look for one that was originally titled in the desert southwest and kept there for its life. If you can find rust, it will be minimal.

If I were in Arizona making say $700,000 a year, i'd probably move back to MS to do the same exact work for say $350,000 a year.

why? I'd be where i wanted to be and once you make so much money other things become more important.

And the cost of living between the Phoenix area and the Tupelo, MS area is only about 1.15%
390/300 = 1.3
so he got a 30% raise and at worst a 20% cost of living increase. Not bad.

Why is a better job to Byrne?
Its closer to home.

Why would moving to Mississippi for less be a better job for me?
its closer to home.

He also doesn't have to battle the SEC and NCAA like he was doing at MSU. Thats the only thing that scares me. Did he see how we are treated and how much of an uphill battle it was and just say 17 it?
