Maybe I have missed it, but what does Byrne's goals look like? New administrators usually have goals to try and accomplish. I am sure the first two are:

1) Get LT out of office
2) Find a talented baseball coach
3)...................

What are the rest? Or are they vague?

which was really interesting. So the regime of LT is over and things pick up instantly...

The Bulldog Club, during the same 3+ month period, has seen an increase upwards of $300,000 to $500,000 in new revenue due to increase giving by current Bulldog Club members.

Just think what they would be if we had an offense that gave fans confidence that 8-5 isn't a fluke.

There are now over 7,000 BC members. 7,153 to be exact per mstateathletics.com.

On #5, I think that LT's departure and Byrne had something to do with it. However, I actually think that a big driver was the new Dog Tag accounts. It may sound dumb, but the new priority point system and rankings went a long way in making me up my giving this year. The ability to see what my dollars were doing in relation to my ranking made a big impact. The sad thing is that it took our AD until 2007 to figure this out.

On a similar note, it's also sad how much my ranking increased from one decent year of giving. It showed me just how little our fans really give.

Also, The previous year our athletics did this.

1) Baseball team went to Omaha
2) Basketball team went to Madison Square Garden (yawn). Also were beginning to show promise early in the new year
3) Football bowl appearance and win.

I would like to see the Bulldog Club numbers go grow to 8500 by the year 2010. Seems like a stretch but oh well.
