1. GICC has to be considered #1 bc of the players that returned, will find out week 8
2. Ord played well this year. we will know more week 8 see above and week 9 see below
3. Cedar Catholic dont know how good they are bc of schedule but will know week 9
4. Bergan is my dark horse I think they are better than most pple think and could suprise pple in playoffs
5. Gothenburg has played toughest schedule of top 5 teams so far which will help them in playoffs
6. Yutan bc they are undefeated but still need to prove something
7. Bishop Neuman 3pts from being #4 or higher

C2 is top heavy but many of the top teams dont play each other til the last 3 weeks of the season so that will lead into a great playoffs in C2

I cover St. Paul and have seen GICC and Ord first hand. C2 is definitely GICC's to lose. Ord is good but im giving the edge to GICC. Ill see Gothenburg on Thursday, but they have been playing good ball as of late. They haven't given up a touchdown in regulation in over 120 minutes(Last was 2nd qtr vs Ord) with consecutive shutouts against Chase Co. and Wood River. Malcolm looked good too, but this list is pretty spot on

Agree with most of this list and especially Bergan as a dark horse if they can get healthy. I'd also throw Malcolm in as a dark horse. Lost a couple of games to good teams early but they tend to get better as the season goes along and they are huge up front.

I think Yutan is a bit low on this list. They keep winning games against good teams but they have some injuries they are dealing with. Will be interesting to see how the Yutan Bergan game goes next week.

Agree class is top heavy and that these last 2 weeks and the playoffs should be some great football

Repeating this from another post.

Having seen GICC & Ord in person since my son's team played both. I think GICC should win handily. I could be wrong but GICC dominated us where as we played Ord tough for a half. In fact our own mistakes is what blew the game open in the third quarter. We've also played Gothenburg and I don't know how they lost to Ord. Gothenburg looked so much better and they dominated us like GICC did. But that's why they play the games.

I think GICC should be in the driver's seat to win it. It'll be interesting to see who they might play for the title if they don't get tripped up along the way.

I have seen most of those teams play and I would be very surprise to see GICC get beat but you never know, I just would not put any money on it
