That’s a weak visitor list. Would figure there would be a lot more 2021 kids like Baldwin, Kennedy Chandler, Max Christie, Jabari Smith or Kuminga.

With Kentucky just landing Askew (will see if he reclassified) and making a push for Baldwin, we need to start focusing on the 2021 and 2022 classes and CTC is a great way to push back on any momentum UK got with 2021 kids who attended Big Blue Madness.

Man this is Duke. Coach K is pulling kids last minute. He's not worried. This Brotherhood thing is doing the recruiting for us.

I would assume the white is the current 1st team. Surprised to not see Vernon Carey on it.

I kind of hate the trend that blue bloods play literally nobody in the off season anymore (aside from things like acc/big10 challenge).

Carey looks phenomenal. The offense looks perfect with him in it and will look even better alongside Hurt. Conditioning actually looks pretty good to me

Moore has the body for the college game. He'll be effective.

Stanley showing some leadership qualities behind the scenes...pumping guys up. taking ownership on a couple bad plays. Really cool to see. Looks good.

JRob showing flashes of his dad out there

So they said changes this year include the three line and something about the shot clock? What was that? And are there any other changes?

I don't know if this has ever been discussed here, but I could see Jon being our next head coach.

Tre looked a little unsure or uncomfortable feeling out a new role. He knows he is supposed to provide more scoring punch, and he took some forced shots including consecutive bad shots that got blocked. He'll get it figured out though.

As already stated, Carey looked great.

Thanks for the article - hate to nitpick such a quick write up but man I have to say I disagree on two points. Carey was the top performer by a wide margin. I appreciate the love for Cassius and cool with it for confidence-building purposes for him.

Also, I don’t like the Tre write-up. Not a great offensive game but to say his offense is still limited from a 20 minute half is just not right. He didn’t get to show his deadly mid-range pull up or much in the fast break. He just needs to keep those and improve his 3 and he’s perfectly fine.

Not trying to jump on your post Q I love your stuff but I know Tre is going to catch some unfair heat from that small performance and people will try to draw conclusions from it

This was a night for freshman and role players if any one thought Tre’s play is what to expect is ludicrous.

Tre is the only for sure 100 percent starter on this team there is still four more spots to fill out in the starting line up.

Looking at the play nothing more then a scrimmage with a lot of questions still needing to be answered going into the season. GO DUKE!!

Was only able to catch like the last 12 minutes so i don’t know about before but AOC was a little disappointing. I saw him miss like 4 or 5 wide open 3’s. I know it’s only a 20 minute scrimmage and i shouldn’t take anything away from it cause it could’ve just been a bad night but that was a little disappointing from someone who is suppose to be one our top shooters.

They have talent and weakness. Gonna be a work in progress, but hope everyone can show some patience this year

Duke fans show patience? Bahaha. This is the type of team Duke fans have been waiting for (lots of returning experience) so I doubt they’re going to be patient. If they weren’t patient with freshmen, they’re not going to be with 2, 3 or 4 year players.

Oh no, you’re good! Since I wasn’t there and didn’t see the game, that was the first write up I saw with complete analysis. You saw it different; so I’m glad there were multiple sets of eyes who saw the same thing but in different ways.

My two major things I wanted to know: how did Tre look and how did the freshman look? I was disappointed in his assessment of Tre but was excited in his assessment of the freshmen, but you saw it differently. Thanks!

Goldwire has some jets. Robinson's body reminds me of an early 90's ball player for some reason (maybe his dad) lol. Great length
