I think this had been discussed to some extent but a search through the tags didn't reveal what I was looking for. Does anyone on here use ATT UVerse? I'm considering changing from CableOne with TiVO service to ATT UVerse with DVR but have read some pretty bad reviews about customer service, overall service, reception problems, etc. I like the idea of what UVerse can do but in order to view all channels (other than HD) you have to rent a box for $7 per month, similar to Dish and DirectTV. Don't have to do that with cable.

Any comments or suggestions?

And love it. It's great picture and service. Much better than Comcast in Jxn.

I would suggest looking into it if it's available in your area. It's slightly more each month than cable, but the programming and picture quality justify the price difference (to me at least).

Had Uverse (switched from Dish) about a year ago. Several TV's sharing one DVR is not practical. One person can knock another off HD if all the feeds are being used. Recording by several users also causes issues. The internet is fantastic - still use Uverse for the net.<div>
</div><div>Uverse needs to have separate DVR's for each set - until then they are not ready forprime time. I cancelled Uverse TV after 3 or 4 months.</div>

I have had uverse for a year now and have no complaints.

I am slowly converting all my cable jacks to ethernet though since that is what uverse works best on. Each set is basically a computer on your network. You can get signal leakage when going from the modem to cable so they recommend cat 5 to all terminals.

It's better than cable and doesnt black out during storms like satelite.
