looks like our former outfielder just earned all GSC honors.....he's hitting .329 and leads DSU with 12 dingers.

I know a little of that is the level of competition they play against, but I know they have played and beat D1 teams in the past.

First of all congrats to Cade. It's good to see him doing well.

Second of all, I guess this leads some creedance to our having D-II talent.

Lastly, I'd like to see Delta State move up to D-I in baseball.

I dont think they would be setting regionals on fire at first or anything, but they definitely have some tough teams.

I've seen them play a few times. When they did play MSU, Ole Miss, and USM, DSU would win games every once in awhile. And when they lost, they held their own.

I think they are comparable to a Birmingham-Southern team when Schoop was coaching them and they made a regional as an Independant.

DSU would be a good fit for the Sun Belt as a baseball only member.
