Disagree completely. That's a great spot to go to bat for your guy who did exactly what you've begged him to do for three years.

Yep. And it was Sirmons the *** that called it from across the court. What truly pissed me off was Ben Howland was ON THE COURT by the 3pt arc with not so much as a sniff.

And on our home court. Calling a coach for a technical on his home court is akin to walking in your neighbor’s house and bedding his wife.

It’s not. But he’s tired of their crap. And so are we. And of course it was the Cal Hater Doug Sirmons that did it.

That offensive GT was a horrid call.

Didnt look like a bad call. The bad call was Hagans taking the ball to the rack in a 2 on 2 situation. Have to play time/possession there unless it’s a gimme which it wasn’t obviously.

That ball was coming off the rim. It’s a bad call.

replay showed it pretty close. Regardless you can’t get T’d up there. Time and place to do it but not there. Didn’t effect the outcome as it turned out thankfully.

I disagree. He was protecting his player. And the ref that made the call? Sirmons. From across the court. Sirmons hates Cal.

BS Tech.

This is why no poster on Cats Eviscerated should ever be allowed within 200 feet of a coaching box, include church league.

I said in the game thread that I would get tossed before halftime for most games if I was a coach. I don't mind a TEEE when the game is in hand but when it's tight...just beware!

Don't think the tech was about the play at the rim . He was screaming call the foul but was mad at the one in the back court that wasn't called
He was and there was nothing there. Defender gets beside ballhandler and raises both hands. He goes completely unguarded to rim and missed a bunny.

mom just glad they missed the three the following possession. If they make that and cut lead to five whole End of game could change. They had a good look at it.

call needs to get on the players for giving up 17 offensive Rebounds again tonight than wanting marginal at best stuff when the whistle truly wasn’t bad to ifht

I'm just curious. I really dont know the answer. Why exactly do the refs hate Cal so much. I mean other coaches argue with the refs and call them out on stuff, but it seems Cal is the only one being T'd up so much, if any. Anyone please care to elaboate. I must have missed something along the way all these years. Thanks for any input.

I think it has to do with how Kentucky fans went after Higgins after the UNC game in 2017 that he threw

Also, Cal has always been good at criticizing the refs after games cleverly and not getting fined for it.

Like last night, nothing to draw a fine, but let it be known he deserved and had to get the T. He knows he needs to get this in hand before the SECT for seeding reasons. Also, needs the zebras to know he has it on the news radar before the NCAAT.

Yes. Some of our fans went Jeffery Dahlmer on the rooferee. I think some of this is related to that.

I think a lot of the awful calls we get are directly related to Cal berating the refs. Would like to see him ease up a little on them and the players and see what happens.

While this is true, we got a terrible whistle even before that game. Not quite as bad as this year overall, but still bad.

Tonight was not the time we have this

Cal sent a message to his players and to the officials. It was the PERFECT time. It didn't affect the game in any meaningful way but sent a message for the future. At least we need to be somewhat consistent on this board: Do we want Cal to speak up or continue to let the officiating control the flow of our games?
