If he signs with us, he'll drop to a 4-star... **
Can someone please tell me why this matters? People still follow high school recruiting? Seems like signing day should be about the only thing that matters. The hell with 2025 crootin.
As it stands right now, Cunningham would be the 2nd highest rated recruit Mississippi State has signed in history according to 247. He’s currently the #10 rated player in the country. Goes without saying he would be the biggest offensive commit we ever had.
More likely to drop to a 3 star if he signs with us. Never underestimate the power of the media to devalue the quality of our recruits/signees.
On the other hand, never underestimate the power of wide receivers to devalue themselves after getting on campus at MSU.
