Caleb reed to become friday starter?

It would depend on whether he is needed tonight or not. I just hope we have a lead late in order to actually need him. I'm not in favor of that myself. We really need for him to keep doing what he does best. However, you have to score runs to have any use for a closer.

him the easier he is to hit..........He sometimes struggles throwing that breaking ball for strikes and after seeing him two or three times you learn to lay off that nasty breaking ball and sit back on that fastball......

just hold him back Friday and Saturday to see if he's needed to close out a win in those games. Now if LSU beats us Friday and Saturday with no closing situations or if Reed has barely pitched THEN you could make Caleb the Sunday starter. Would be no sense in burning him out on Friday night.
