I do not follow pro hoops. Have there been Exhibit-10 signees who have succeeded?
Good luck to Caleb.

Each team can have 3 two-way guys and up to 6 exhibit 10 guys - which is like a reserve list for possible 2 way
He'll be playing basketball
Thanks. So does that mean he would have to replace one of 3 other guys? If so, do we know who those guys are yet for this year?

It's new that they get 3 two-way contracts, it was 2 last season - so that's great for Caleb - one more slot than before.

Last season, it looks like they had Eugene Omoruyi (yes that one) and Lindy Waters III as 2 way players.
However, they moved both those players to standard contracts with the team and then waived them.
Backfilled the 2-way deals with Olivier Sarr and Jared Butler.

Two-way contracts are only 1 year deals. Just because you had one last year doesn't mean you are guaranteed anything the next year.
Teams have until the end of the month to make a "Qualifying Offer" to their 2-way contract people (Toronto and RHJ for example).
This would make the player a RFA and the team can match another other offers or resign for another 2-way or standard contract.
Hopefully RHJ gets a qualifying offer from the Raptors.

See this paragraph from an article about the Heat:

This is the deadline for the Heat to extend qualifying offers to two-way contract players Jamal Cain and Orlando Robinson to make them restricted free agents and retain the right to match outside offers to re-sign them. The qualifying offer could turn into another two-way contract unless the Heat is forced to match standard contract offers they receive as restricted free agents or simply wants to promote them to the 15-man roster.

Both Cain and Robinson are expected to be part of the Heat’s summer league team this offseason for the second straight year.

Here are a few other 2022-23 NCAA standouts who have signed Exhibit-10 contracts within the last 24 hours:

*Drew Timme - Gonzaga (Milwaukee)
*Malachi Smith - Gonzaga (Portland)
*Tosan Evbuomwan - Princeton (Detroit)
*Taylor Funk - Utah State (Miami)

Fair assessment of Caleb’s strengths and weaknesses. I didn’t realize he was so reliable with his inside game. I guess that doesn’t include fast break attempts. He’s missed a lot of bunnies that he needs to clean up. His iso stats are better than I would’ve guessed too. Oddly - his biggest weakness seems to be wide open shooting. Go figure.

So is OKC coach not going to play him??

I'm sure he'll get into games eventually but honestly he's not a high priority for them.

They have a young NBA roster and those guys are going to be prioritized for playing time.
Their 3 actual draft picks didn't even play in the game (who are likely ahead of Caleb).

I'm sure many of them will stop playing after a couple games (wtf is Tre Mann doing in SL still?) and then guys at the end of the bench will get time.
It's going to be a tough summer for Caleb.

He picked the wrong team. He’s a specialist. Don’t go to a team that’s stock piling talent. Go to a team that needs your role
