...one free throw doesn't get missed, or he calls a timeout instead of keeping it in his pocket, and he probably has that elusive championship. Meanwhile, his teams went to four straight sweet sixteens, three straight elite eights, and one final four (national championship game). That kind of success has nothing to do with conference USA. I know he's a whipping boy to a few of the folks on here, but his record speaks for itself...and he's just the antidote for what ails Kentucky.

No one else in America is even close to that kind of four year record. Calipari obviously is a great college coach as evidenced by his NCAA tourney trips but C-USA really allowed him to rack up a gaudy record. Memphis has not lost a C-USA game in 4 years for Pete's sake. It will be interesting to see how he does in the SEC. I doubt there will be any more 3 or 4 loss seasons.

As for you Coach, you have about as much credibility as my left nut after all the moronic statements and sewage you have spewed this basketball season. During football and baseball you seem like a decent poster but jeez the mere mention of Stansbury turns you into a raving loon.

in 5 seasons. He was still building Memphis during most of that time, but I don't think anyone disputes that his record is inflated b/c of the CUSA, but its irrelevant b/c he's been so damn good in the postseason.

they lost Douglas-Roberts, Dorsey, and Rose and still go to the Sweet 16. That's really amazing.

Everyone on here has read your comments this season and everyone knows where you stand. By the way those coaches I mentioned that you feel are better than Stansbury were 1-7 against Stansbury this year , none reached the NCAA tournament, and two were fired. What more freaking proof do you need?</p>
