Let's see....thye killed us for 30 of the 40 minutes in Athens but had dug the hole to deep. They outrebounded us. Turned it over 22 times, which is unlikely to happen again. One of their best players had one of his worst games (Thompkins). One of our players had one of his best games (Ravern), at least until he was told to stop scoring so darn much.

Yep, I am verrrrrrrry worried about today.

We slowed it up after getting a big lead to shorten the game (which I don't usually like) and some walkon for UGA had the game of his life hitting 5 threes to get UGA back in it. Also, everyone but Ravern played like crap in that game.

Yeah but those facts don't really help support his agenda so of course he will leave them out

but I've got a bad feeling about today.
I've been saying that all season. We're mediocre. Our 3-point shooing is exciting and often the source of misplaced optimism. We're the type of team that isn't going to accomplish much in the post season. On any given night, we could get hot and beat a very good team. But don't expect us to go deep in a tournament.

Slowing it down to early has bitten many coaches in the butt before. Stans isn't alone on that one. McPhee did have a good game. He's a transfer from Gardner-Webb. And perusing the box, Jarvis and Phil had numbers equal or better than their normal games. Bost and Randy were bad. Bailey yanked down six boards in 10 minutes and won't play today. All I'm saying is we jumped on them early in Athens and held on for dear life for 30 minutes. We can't depend on getting that kind of lead again, on Woodbury and Thompkins getting half their averages, and our post guys have to step it up on the boards. They can't count on McPhee lighting it up and on our backcourt to be that bad again.
