Cam is a victim!

Seriously... when I read the ESPN article today and see this:

After Newton committed to Auburn, another source said an emotional Cam
Newton phoned another recruiter to express regret that he wouldn't be
going to Mississippi State, stating that his father Cecil had chosen
Auburn for him because "the money was too much."

it really pisses me off. Here's another gifted athlete who lets his father essentially pimp him out and gets caught doing it. MSU offered him a scholarship, Cecil wanted an early payday. There's no question that he'll be headed to the NFL and will make his and throw plenty of it back home. But facing a property being demolished due to code violations, Cecil had to have that check to take care of that right now.
So off to Auburn went his baby boy. Cecil gets a blessing from the Lord and the church is saved.

Granted, I know the boy is no saint with the laptop and cheating allegations, but maybe Cam shouldn't be crucified for the actions of his father or Auburn or Kenny Rogers for that matter. He obviously knew the deal was made if he's tossing out the above quote.

So who gets the lion's share of the blame?

Rev. Cecil Newton?
Kenny Rogers?
Auburn?
